Ukraine and Russia between west and east

Abstract. On the basis of the deep analysis of modern tendencies of globalisation (first of all, strengthening of its Asian features) and results of the polls which have been carried out by the leading Ukrainian and Russian sociological centers, in article is shown, that Ukraine, which economy is non-competitive and not adaptive to the global process of dominant technological structures change, can be saved as the state and become successful only under condition of its interaction with Russia amplification.
