The potential of energy saving and alternative energy using in the industry

Abstract. An assessment of potential energy saving and of alternative sources energy using in the industry was carried out in order to highlight the most promising areas of energy saving in the industry. The reserves of industrial enterprises were identified on: waste recycling technologies of its own production, buying and implementation of energy-saving equipment, as well as interaction with the plant for the integrated processing of municipal solid waste. The proposed approach to the assessment of the energy saving potential is realized on the example of the metallurgical industry.
