Prospects of shale gas production and consumption in the European Union

Abstract. The author discusses the essence of shale gas, highlights the steps necessary to perform in the European Union directly to obtain economic benefits from such mining; considers the documentary base, which regulates this sector of economy; performs an analytical study of fuel and energy resources availability, demand for it and its consumption.
