The analysis of the export potential management models of the world’s countries

Abstract. The authors have proposed a classification of export potential management models based on an experience generalization concerning application of state support for export instruments in these countries. As a result of conducted analysis of the system of export stimulating tools, 4 groups of activities aimed at export potential increase were allocated, namely: information and consultation, financial and insurance, organizational communication, institutional (state and/or regional system of international economic activity promotion). Based on the nature of state economic foreign policy targets, the following types of export orientation have been distinguished: versatile, industrial, geographical. Thus, a combination of different types of export tools and orientation, allowed identifying seven export potential management models worldwide. In addition, developed countries are characterized by using the full range of tools to promote export, which was considered by the example of Finland. This fact in turn indicates a gradual blurring of the verges between the existing models of export potential of national economies.
