The role of the national financial systems in the international competitiveness ensuring of the Scandinavian countries

Abstract. The article is devoted to features of functioning of a financial system of the Scandinavian countries (state budgets, taxations, stock exchanges, banks). The author compares the efficiency of financial systems of Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden and Finland with other world leaders. It is defined that a basis of the Scandinavian countries economies successful development is effective and reliable financial system. It is concluded that specific distribution and redistribution of budgetary funds are important conditions for high level of competitiveness achievement by these countries’ economies.
