Regulatory framework of the financial and economic indicators for risk analysis of corporate activity

Abstract. Introduction. In the article a direction of regulatory base improvement for financial-economic indicators has been offered based on threshold interval category generalization and factor analysis methods. Results. The meaning of generalization is to shift from usage not only interval point and half-interval representations, but also to pair representations in which the first element denotes labeling and valuation of threshold interval’s left and right endings, and the second one shows its size. Factor analysis allows receiving from generalized threshold interval estimations of threshold intervals families each of which characterizes separate generalized financial-economic factor. Practical capability of the author’s approach is shown at the case of Ukrainian corporations. Conclusion. Worked out approach to indicators regulatory framework allows to consider in complex economic, statistical and financial peculiarities of Ukrainian enterprises activity using comparatively small group of generalized indicators.

Direction of author’s future research is to account uncertainty in analysis and estimation of corporate activity risks.
