Review is devoted to the issues of modern economic development of Kazakhstan that are analyzed in the book by R. I. Kosmambetova «The Model of Industrial-Innovation Development of the National Economy». It gives positive assessment of this model outlined by the Author, witch has implications for other newly independent states, including Ukraine.
