Global model of political and economic power: transformation of paradigm

Abstract. Introduction. In the world, the global tectonic processes (shifts) have happened. They have had valuable influence on the world political-economic development and testified the crisis of existed bi-polar model of power. Thus, the purpose of research is to elucidate systemically important trends of qualitatively new concept of the global model of balanced political and economic power development in the context of its transformation.

Results. The main driving force, the genome of the world economics’ paradigm used to be competition and fierce antagonism of two systems – the capitalistic and communistic ones. The world was straightly structured and bi-polar. However, it occurred that any of the states could itself propose a new global paradigm. In the beginning of the ХХІ century, a new world paradigm has begun shaping. As a result, today the world has switched to the multi-civilization, multi-polar system which is diverse and multidimensional by its nature.

Our analysis shows that this new paradigm has been forming and developing under the influence of the global political-economic trends, the most worthy of which are formulated and introduced in current research as follows. 1. Disseminating of the Euro-Atlantic paradigm. 2. Forming of polycentrism and authorizing of multi-polar approach as the result of MNCs activity. 3. Deepening of antagonism between economic and political power in different states. 4. Money has become an instrument to export Euro-Atlantic paradigm all over the world, while US dollar and Euro have turned to the main world currencies. 5. Developed countries are switching to the higher 5th and 6th economic-technological modes. 6. Women become active and equally big power of the political and economic life. 7. In conditions of systemic crisis period, economic models of the most states have transformed, acquiring new features or strengthening already existed ones. 8. Models of economic regulation refreshing dictate certain changes in the states’ political power. 9. Changes in principles and mechanisms of international institutions functioning are on the way.

Conclusion. The essence of new paradigm of the global model of political and economic power has already crystallized. It means that separate paradigms of core world civilizations have been structuring on the basis of their natural spiritual-mental values and principles. Objective factors which form, structure and develop new paradigm are global trends. Their synergic action will effect into final realization of the modern synthetic paradigm of the global political and economic power model.
