Periodization of financialization process of economics: domestic and foreign contexts

Abstract. Introduction. The real and financial sectors are complex subsystems with special structures, actors, resources. Relationships of financial and real sectors are realized due to the interests and goals of their participants. Research of the real and financial sectors intercommunication is topical in the context of the economy’s financialization process analysis.

Purpose. Investigation of the financial sector’s influence to the real sector. Retrospective analysis of the financialization phenomena formation principles in the economy. Periodization of the global economy’s financialization process. Periodization of the Ukraine’s economy financialization process. Forecast of the economy’s financialization.

Results. Positive and negative effects of the financial sector activities on the real sector have been formulated. The views of scientists on the problem of financialization of the economy were critically analyzed. Retrospective principles of the modern financialization have been given in the article. Features of the economy’s financialization phenomenon are reflected. The economy of Ukraine in the context of global trends in the world economy is studied. Timing process of the global economy’s financialization, as well as the economy of Ukraine, has been undertaken. The authors’ forecasts of future financialization have been grounded.

Conclusion. The process of the economy’s financialization is the cause of the crisis at both domestic and global levels. The national economy formation under exacerbation of the global economy’s financialization is taking place. Therefore, it is vital to change the approach to the real and financial sectors regulation in order to insure country’s development.
