Estimation of the innovative potential of Ukraine as a factor of international competitiveness

Abstract. The article reviews the theoretical foundations of international competitiveness, the role of innovative capacity in the system of international competitiveness by analyzing the classification of innovation and investigate the genesis of the concept of national innovation systems, the preconditions of improving innovative capacity and overall competitiveness of the country and offers the paradigm of adaptation to the national economy changes caused by the influence of globalization factors of development.
