Government expenditures in the context of economic growth provision in Ukraine

Abstract. The аuthors article determine the necessity of establishing the direction and character of the interrelations changes of government spending and the level of economic development. The аuthors summarize the scientific and methodological approaches to the interpretation of «government spending» category and also consider how increasing or decreasing of government spending volumes impact on gross domestic product. The analytical calculations of macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine demonstrated the interrelations between changes in the level of public expenditures and economic growth. Consequently, government spending is an important factor in economic growth stimulating in Ukraine through the optimization of its structure and directions of financing.
