Calculation methods of domestic enterprises’ competitiveness evaluation

Abstract. Introduction. The article deals with the analysis of quantitative methods of domestic enterprises’ competitiveness level evaluation. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods and opportunities of their application by companies in the modern conditions of development are found out. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for choosing effective method of evaluating the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises. Results. Based on the analysis, the authors found that the calculative methods have varying degrees of depth and scope of research. Such research is not enough and no single method is economically feasible, so a new approach that would allow considering all aspects of a company’s activities is needed. These reasons determine the need for it. Productive base for the development of an effective evaluation method of competitiveness is a mathematical model which will serve as tools for the evaluation of strategic objectives to improve the competitiveness.

Conclusions. According to the authors, the proposed model is perfect if applying by the method of computer simulation based on Hopfield network. That will allow consideration of a wide range of the various qualities parameters and dynamic effects of activities of modern enterprises, giving clear and transparent assessment with minimal time and financial resources.
